Documentation available for older chips (e.g. Z80, Z180, 68k)
Lots of documentation about Z80/Z180, 68K system are available under /https://feldtmann.ddns.net/rc2014/doc/
RC2014 Bus – SoundCard AY-3-8910 – Revision 1
Here is a soundcard for the RC2014 bus. Its the same stuff as for the MSKZIO bus as I published it here, only the bus connector has been changed. Actually I have not build it … Both cards are derived … Continue reading
MSKZIO-Bus — USB under development
This is my current work – over Christmas and holidays. A controller board with 4 USB controller chips. Here I would like to solve several problems (for additional computer system projects – e.g. 68k system): Get access to USB devices … Continue reading
MSKZIO-Bus — Z80KIO Controller
You never can get enough interfaces for such a small computer. One of the older, most powerful devices for the Z80/Z180 is the Z80 KIO. It offers two parallel ports, 2 serial ports and 4 timers:
MSKZIO-Bus — I2C Controller PCA9665
Another working project for my MSKZIO-bus is an I2C controller board based on PCA9665. Lots of devices – sensors, memories can be accessed via the I2C protocol. The small board above the controller card is a 4 digit LED number … Continue reading
MSKZIO-Bus Extender Backplane
To get additional four slots you may add (to my RC2014 dapter backplane) my extender backplane:
Development System – SC126 from Steve Cousins
Here a picture of my development system – a SC126 system from Steve Cousins for the RC2014 bus system. The system has been published at https://easyeda.com/sccousins/sc126-v1-0-z180-processor-for-z50bus. The base system (a Z180 with 512 KByte RAM and 512 KByte ROM at … Continue reading
MSKZIO-Bus – SoundCard AY-3-8910 – Revision 1
So, the sound card got a new revision: I resolved all wrong texts on the PCB, added support for the /SEL pin of the YM-2149 and especially the buf with the 74HCT00. In the picture above the condensators … Continue reading
New modules ordered in China …
Christmas gave me some time and I spend the days-between to produce new modules PCBs and ordered them from China today. Z180 I removed the memory from the card – actually I had a revisioned module for holding 1MB of … Continue reading
